Post Ep Drabbles - Criminal Minds
I have a couple of post ep drabbles for the Criminal Minds premiere. They are both rated teen. If you haven't seen the ep these are spoilery.
One thing Hotch learned early in life…never show fear. Before he was old enough to understand what was happening in his house, he was afraid. Afraid of his father’s fists. Afraid someone would find out. Even more afraid no one ever would. Every night he would lie in bed and promise himself he wouldn’t be afraid when he grew up.
Now, no matter what Dave said, no matter how good the team was, he may never see his son again. Alone in the dark, the pain riding just under the surface of the drugs, he fought the fear and lost.

She’s in his arms, soft and sleek and warm, and Dave feels his eyes burn with unshed tears.
“Want you, Emily.” The words don’t do justice to what he really feels. He just hopes she can hear what he means. “So much.”
She’s kissing him. Fierce and sweet and hot. Her hands are in his hair, her body pressed against his. And he knows that she knows.
Pulling back, breath ragged, he cups her cheeks. “We almost lost Hotch and Reid. I just…”
“I need you, too.” She turns her head and kisses his palm. “Love me.”
And he does.
