Finally
So, I haven't updated this in a while. Here's what's been going on. The week of finals was insane (the first week). On Friday I had 2 ten page papers due and a final. I was really stressed and didn't feel prepared for my test. But, I ended up getting an 89 on the test, so I can't complain. I really wanted to get a 3.8 this semester, cause then I could get a master's degree in only one extra year, but I ended up getting about 3.5, which is really good...just not good enough. Oh well, I'll take that as God telling me to get a job rather than going to grad school, makes things simple.
That's all i've got to say about school, but I had an interesting thing happen when I got back. My parents asked me to help shingle my brothers house and said they'd pay me. So, that Saturday I get up real early and go to my bro's house with my dad. We worked for about 9 hours that day and got a good amount of work done. But, when we were done I felt awful. I was dizzy and had a headache. I figured I was just really tired, and didn't worry too much about it. That night we went to see the band Lost and Found, and it was a good time. As soon as we got home I went directly to bed and slept for 11 hours. The next morning I got up and I felt exactly like I did the night before. I told my mom that I couldn't work, but she guilted me into getting up. I went to my bro's house and worked another 6 hours. I then came home and crashed, feeling just awful. That night my mom came to check on me because I was coughing pretty badly, and decided to take my temperature....it was 106. So we went to the hospital, and we found out on tuesday that I had pnemonia. So, I've spent the rest of my summer dealing with that.
I know, a rambling story...but at least the roof got done.
