Alright. So I've decided I'm in a really fangirly mood tonight. I have no idea why. Specifically, I'm fangirling over Tori Amos and McGee/Ziva. I mean, go figure, right? And "The Art Teacher" by Rufus Wainwright came on earlier and I was reminded once again what a perfect song that is. Seriously, GUH. (And now I'm doing a disk cleanup so I hopefully have room to download that song because I DON'T HAVE IT ON MY COMPUTER WTF and a few others. Hee. Yay Multiply.)
So....rambling? On above fangirl obsessions of the day? Ok. (ETA: Right. I got distracted and lost my train of thought. So it's more or less just rambling about Tori. And not even rambling, really. I've talked about McGiva more than enough, I'm sure, so that's not a huge issue.)
I really just want this new album to come out already.
While I was looking for new icons, I decided I wanted 2 Tori icons, and for some reason completely unbeknownest to me, I wasn't already a member of toricons, so I joined the comm. Hello. Tori icons? I'm there.
This is completely disjointed. LOL.
I was just thinking about Tori before and how I just love her. She's a goddess. Like, "Mother Revolution" came on my media player and I was like, yes, I love this. Even though it's from The Beekeeper and that apparently means I shouldn't like it. *rolls eyes* Seriously, just respect that she's making music with respect for her child, would you? But I didn't come here to yell at people. Anyway, I was like, yes, I love everything she does, whether it's adult contemporary Tori or just broke up with Trent Reznor Tori. She's just a goddess. No one can even compare. When people say Kate Bush is better... I just have to laugh. I'm sorry. I do. I just can't stand to listen to Kate Bush sing. Her voice grates on my nerves. I gave her a chance, I really did, but I can't do it.
"Not The Red Baron" just came on. This is such an underrated song. I think a lot of people forget it exists. It's so beautiful, though. But what of hers isn't, am I right? I'm trying to think of other songs of hers that are underrated. It's kinda hard, actually.
