So, apparently you people like random posts, b/c a lot of you commented on the one I made earlier. :D
So I shall make another. For you. Or b/c I felt like it. Either one.
Our kitchen table is covered with yummy cupcakes my roommate made. Some of them are drenched in sprinkles. It's tempting to just take a seat and eat them all. But I have more self-control than that.
Um, I didn't mention it yet, but Brett Favre? Did not retire. Yay for the Packers not sucking next year. :)
Random awesome music fact: Mike Doughty went to college with Ani DiFranco and they used to play music in the hallways. IS THAT NOT FUCKING AWESOME???? I love Mike more than life, and Ani is also a favorite of mine, so yes, I was extremely excited to read that.
Also, speaking of Ani DiFranco, I was on last.fm earlier and one of my neighbors had just listened to a track that was her and Aimee Mann covering "When Doves Cry." I just about died when I saw that. Two of my favorite singers covering a song I just love to death. Wow. So now I must look for it b/c I have to own it.
I was listening to "Terrible Lie" by Nine Inch Nails earlier and I realized, wow, this song really turns me on. (I told you it was TMI, but you went and read it anyway. Your fault.) I mean, first of all, Trent Reznor, so anything he does = sex, but also? Have you ever danced to that song? It's nothing but hip thrusts and gyrating. (And now you're all picturing me gyrating, awesome.) HOT.
And that got me thinking, a lot of hard rock/industrial/metal kinda gets me hot. Like, it's just so rough and dirty. *rrr*
And not only that (I know, you're all like, oh god, please stop), but slower songs can do the same thing, like some of Tori's stuff (oh, never saw THAT coming, right?), especially "Liquid Diamonds" and, duh, "Leather." And some of the Boys For Pele stuff, too (I've got "Little Amsterdam" on right now, and guh). And other artists, like Rufus Wainwright and probably similar peeps, too.
There was a certain song I was thinking of that always makes me want to have sex, but I can't think of it. I know "Closer" definitely is one. I mean, "I want to fuck you like an animal." Come on. *rawr* A few of Sarah McLachlan's songs, too, like "Wait" and "Plenty." Mmm.
Speaking of Tori & Trent, they totally dated for awhile, which is just pure weird.
So, yes, now I'm all horny and I think I need to go seek out some Ziva fic..../TMI
