Anyway, I wrote another incredibly blasphemous tori_drabble. Oh my, this song just asks for it, I tell you. I should really upload it so those of you who aren't familiar with "Icicle" won't just think I'm some heathen who enjoys writing this stuff.
Icicle II
This ginger-haired girl wants to be the lover of the one and only Jesus Christ. Take his body into hers, feel his holy flesh rub against her own. She longs to run her girl fingers through his tangled hair, and she yearns to experience a true orgasm as only Christ could give.
He comes into her room in the form of a book, a fable, a story told by prophets and wise men and saints. He enters her as only a god could, without a sound, absorbing into her skin like poisoned air.
He silences her when she screams murder.
I am feeling very productive tonight. I even went and did a little cleaning up in the kitchen. Of course, I brought Mike Doughty with me, so that helped me want to stay out there. I got almost all the way through Skittish before I finished. (I had just started "Rising Sign," and like I need to listen to that song anymore. Oy. I keep getting it stuck in my head. But it's so damn good that it's hard to NOT get it stuck in your head.)
Anyway, I keep rambling. Must be because it's 3:30 in the morning. Ooh! I just remembered that last night, another thing I was going to post in the "Post of Doom" was, if I could find it, links to my broadcast stories. The stories themselves aren't all that exciting, but hey, who wants to hear Sherry reading broadcast script that she wrote? Huh? Yeah, I know. But you'd get to hear what I sound like if you don't already know. And that's cool. Let me go look. Hahaha, I just totally found my story from advanced reporting. Oh, God, don't remind me of that semester. *shudders* And my story from magazine editing. Aha! Sherry talking about Eau Claire's minimum wage increase. Not very exciting, so I don't recommend listening to the whole thing, or reading along with the story, since some things in the script were changed after the audio file was put online. Gah. Now I'm totally reverting back to this past year. NOT WHAT I WANTED TO DO. I have some....issues with journalism and this past year. Yick. Let's not get started on that.
