A New Found Rescue Man
Well let me start off with the basics...
- I am studying to be a Scenic Designer (With advanced knowledge of lighting) at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley Colorado. I LOVE it here! The program in Fantastic! We are working on Eclipsed, Chess, Holes, The Merchant of Venice, and Dead Man's Cell Phone this semester. I am Assistant Stage Manager for Eclipsed (which is an all women's cast and is DEFINATELY starting to take a toll...but luckily it is over in less than 2 weeks). I also work as a carpenter for the Scene Shop for the Theatre and I am learning how to weld...WOW! Imagine me, welding. Laugh now, but I am getting pretty good at it! HA! I live on the Performing Arts Floor and it is chaos 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! But I love it. I am moving into a house next year with 4 other people (yes we all have our own rooms) and we are all very very excited! The house will contain...get ready for this. 2 Tech Majors, 2 Musical Theatre Majors, and 1 Acting Major (3 guys, 2 girls) Yup...and we are getting a pet duck...because they sell ducks as pets in Colorado...and make diapers for them...and you can train them...and they will eat anything and follow you. Basically they are incredible animals! HA!
- I am dating a boy named Aaron, the end of this month will actually be out 6 month. CRAZY! I know. He is the greatest though, we fight sometimes but he usually gets over it. lol. He is 19 but a year ahead of me in the program. I am a little taller than him and we are the same build. (he is actually sodering a lamp post right now for his model of Roberto Zucco). He and I have designed Urinetown together (I will post picture of it soon cause it turned out wonderfully!) and we are working on designing a show called Korzac's Children now. One of the negative things about him is that the has never ever been to a Disney theme park.......so I am hopefully going to change that over Spring Break! CRA CRA I KNOW!!!
