(no subject)
So today they worked out my schedule...its still REALLY wierd...but it works...and I like it alot! :-)
Today we went through Turandot for the first time since break....I WANTED TO KILL MYSELF!!! It was so so so bad! I COMPLETELY forgot a line, cut several short. But it wasn't just me (Thank goodness!) But still...it sucked! And we only have 3 and half weeks until competition...which is good cause that is alot of time! :-D WE CAN DO IT!...okay...
We also got our costumes...mine looks like it came straight from the S&M store...its a leather vest (with no sleeves) and its tied up in the front with a hood. And then underneath that I have a FITTED (very tightly) body suit that covers the upper half of my body, and then hangs down to the floor...I will get pics ASAP cause you HAVE to see it. While I like it...it is TOTALLY not me!
We also got the accompaniment C.D.'s for Seussical which excites me cause I can start to learn my stuff....cause there is A TON of music!!! But I like it, I am really looking forward to it!
Recently discovered Assasins and I like it...I remember my teacher talking about the day JFK was shot and how ANYONE you will talk to will remember EXACTLY what they were doing and where they were when it happened...that is was THAT big of a deal...so the song, Something Just Broke was REALLY interesting to me.
I again am not ready to be back at school...but I think this semester will be good. I am looking forward to the upcoming projects...I am not happy however that this semester is 19 weeks instead of 16...that kinda bothers me. Oh well...what can you do? Go with it I guess....whatever!
I am going to see Kiss Me Kate for my fathers birthday on Saturday at ABT...Very excited...I have not seen it yet, nor have I seen anything there from the audience, save the New Years Eve Gala (The GRANDEST affair in town...btw.) An of course there is a workday this weekend, such as there is on most weekends. And then I work on Sunday and have to figure out what I want/need to do on Monday. :-) CAUSE WE GET IT OFF!!! Which is kinda cool.
