Why did I sign up for a photo class if I can never remember how a camera functions. I took third year photo courses, and got good grades, I must have learned this stuff. Still so confused. So far I have 2 35 mm cameras 3 lenses for them a flash, my grandmas old camera, it's my favorite cause it's automatic, but old enough that it still has a good lens. My roommates got a 35 mm camera and 2 crazy macro lenses, and teleconverter lens. So that's the inventory, I also have a few rolls of black and white film that I can use. My professor said shoot with whatever you are most comfortable with. I'm not sure what that is anymore it's been too long. I just use my little digital camera but somehow I don't think that'll be acceptable. The jump to digital SLR seems simple enough, except that I'd have to borrow one from a friend and I don't know how to print images digitally, where as I'm pretty sure I haven't forgotten how to print in the darkroom. For some reason black and white, tiny 35 mm negatives printed by hand just doesn't seem good enough for this level class. Ugg what to do, I could shoot with the mamyia 120, then I could have larger negs and the ability to print larger but then it just gets so expensive with the cost of photo paper and everything. I just want to use crazy little cameras like Kim does and have my pictures be awesome all the time. But that won't happen. Well not without work. I took some neat color photos with Ian last year in condo construction site that I'm getting printed finally. I hope I can take more pictures like that. Ramble Ramble Ramble... I just don't want this to be super stressful like all the other photo classes I've taken that have made me cry, mostly because it's technically difficult for me and people are mean, instead of being helpful. I'm sure it'll be fine, I'll just have to start working harder, time to try to wake up.
