February 2008 Theme
Welcome to the February Challenge for SMMFC in 2008! I hope we're in for an utterly fantabulous month since the community voted on which theme they would like to participate in. Remember, there is no obligation to complete all twenty-nine days. You just get spiffy prizes if you do. :D Even if you complete the month-long challenge well after that month is actually over I might add. There are absolutely no time limits on anything whatsoever, so please participate.
You've asked for it, and so you shall have it. Out of five options, this community was able to settle on one theme, which won by a smaller margin than last time, but I was still able to make the layout before the results were technically called. The theme for February shall be Alternate Universe. In other words, your fic can not in anyway resemble canon except in terms of characterization.
The characters may stay in Tokyo if you so choose, but there ought to be no hint of Sailor Senshi anywhere within the story. In order for your story to be eligible, the characters must find themselves in a completely different situation. Minako is an FBI agent, Haruka is just a race car driver, Mamoru cannot blow shit up with hands, etc. If you have a question about whether or not your story qualifies, ask. I'm going to be putting up a questions, comments, and concerns thread since lately I've been getting the feeling that people might be having issues but not actually telling me about them.
Anyway, I hope to see lots of spiffy fanfic from everybody for this era since it seems to be a favorite. ^_^
