Right from left.
So, we went out to eat last night, which we hardly ever do. While we were waiting for our food Boogie was coloring the little paper book dealy that they give to kids to mess with so that they will hopefully not scream & yell while they have to wait for their food. Anyhow....she was coloring & then paused & informed me that she was going to put the crayon in her right hand & color like that. I said "ok. you do that." Then I asked Fish if he heard what Boogie Bug had said. He had not, so I informed him. Just to prove my point, that she DID , in fact, know her right from her left, I asked her to tell me what her other hand was. I said something along the lines of this, "If you are coloring with your RIGHT hand...then what is (gestures with my own hand to her other hand) that hand called?" She looked at me as if I had just asked her the stupidest question ever & replied "This (holding up her left hand) is my left hand, Mommy."
I smiled & told her good job & then smiled smugly at her Daddy. See (I thought to myself), she DOES know her right from her left.
Might I remind you that she turned 3 years old on the 1st of March. This little girl is to smart for her own little pants!!! To bad her common sense & attitude are not on the same level!!! When the day is done & all is said & done, she can be the smartest little thing you've ever seen....but she is still demanding & stubborn as hell. *grin*
