Ow...calluses
I just did a whole butt load of practicing. And now I have some pretty, pretty calluses on my left hand. However, I just popped in a Better Than Ezra DVD and played right along to In The Blood. It took me about five takes to get through the whole song. When I had it down I stood up, extended the strap as far as it would go, and played the song while dancing around the room. Yes, I am just as strange as they say. I am beginning to play the 3rd and 4th string by ear/feel now, but even after the practicing (which is inconsistent...I go for days without touching the thing and then try to make up for it with marathon practices) I can't sight read too quickly. Ah well...just something more to try JDawg's patience with. And I am going tomorrow. Maybe I'll even get to see cjliotta. Yay!

How was the weekend, you ask? I had to work Saturday and Sunday. But I made up for it by having more fun than expected with D and J. Much more. Wow.
