Just got out of work...yick.
I can play my bass marginally better than a 5-year-old can play a violin. This is a marked improvement over just a few weeks, thanks to the top-notch lessons from cjliotta's company.
I am all over "Shadows of the Night" by Pat Benatar on the bass. I can play the whole song! Yay me! And it only took a week! It has a more complicated bass line than my assignment, GnR's "Paradise City", but the latter requires I cycle the first three fingers on my left hand in quick succession and I can't seem to handle that just yet. Grrr....
Hopefully I will come up with less cheesy songs to practice...but probably not in the near future.
