The face of fear

From one of Gannon's escort advertisments:"AGGRESIVE, VERBAL, DOMINANT TOP"
"I DON'T LEAVE MARKS....ONLY IMPRESSIONS"
"Dominant", huh? Anderson Cooper just handed Gannon's ass to him in this interview. I almost felt sorry for him. This was not the performance of an "aggressive, verbal, dominant top". Gannon was visibly sweating, he was incoherent, and he looked like a mouse cornered by a python. This interview made two glaring impressions (but not marks) on me.
  • Gannon did not plan on talking to CNN or anyone else. He was told in no uncertain terms that he needed to clear the White House in this matter 'tut sweet. Our boy Karl must have had a little talk with him, and probably made Gannon an offer he couldn't refuse. Unfortunatly for the Boy Genius, Gannon did a terrible job, because Gannon was in no position to negotiate the terms of the interview. Stay tuned for Gannon's mysterious disappearance. I hope he stays away from charter jets.
  • Gannon thought he would have an ally in Anderson Cooper because Cooper is gay as well. It was clear to me that Cooper was more restrained than he wanted to be. It was probably to Gannon's benefit that they weren't in the same room.
I never thought I would see the day the press started to do its job again. They are finally starting to get it through their thick heads that it is not in their interest to remain the propaganda instruments they have been since 2000. And once the press smells blood, there is nothing Karl Rove can do to keep the sharks at bay.

This is an awfully incoherent post, but it's three in the morning and I can't sleep. Yeep.
