Tuesday, in a rare fit of foresight, I decided to park the car at home and catch the Metro for my monthly (or so) trip to Prissy's on Connecticut Avenue for my stereotypically homo haircut

This is very topical. I've just ordered "Latter Days" from Amazon, after having watched the movie.

I love the movie. Obviously I'm all for the stereotypical. I'm sure I'll love the book just as much.

(The only reason I bought the movie, and now the book, is because my brother-in-law is a Mormon. Unmarried as well. Believe it or not.) ;D

No, he certainly wasn't raised that way.

No idea. He doesn't ride around on a bike, so maybe he doesn't have to do the sales thing. I know my parents-in-law had a lot of trouble coming to terms with him having to pay a tithe to the church though.

If you do get to see the movie, let me know what you think of the tight shorts. The very tight shorts. I thought Aussie Rules footballers wore the tightest of tight shorts. I was wrong.

I think the US DVD version of Latter Days is different to my Aussie version, in that I don't have a Director's commentary. My version has a "Behind the Scenes Featurette", though, and I love what Steve Sandvoss says about playing a gay character, and his interpretation of Wes Ramsey's character. (He has such a cute face!)
