Project365 2011: Day 300-309

First day at the internship, done! Though technically we were suppose to start on monday, our boss couldn't meet us then and decided to meet us today instead. So it seems I have irregular work hours * A * My next 2 saturdays are booked though XO.

So today we had a shoot with a local band that was going to be featured in a website. Before that, the other staff/older interns taught us how to assemble and adjust the equipment in the studio. Changing the dishes/softboxes were really hard! I couldn't twist the dishes off while trying to hold the light's body, which should be in all cases be supported whatever your doing to it. I feel that my hours at gym weren't validated orz.

A little later the band arrived and we started the shoot. We weren't allowed to be directly hands-on with the shoot, but we had to observe how the whole thing goes. We would suggest poses or scenarios, or help move other props, but most of the time we just watched. Though in the last parts we were featured in the shoot because we had to act as "rabid fangirls" ripping off their clothes XD. The best part was we asked one of the male staff to act out on it too, and LOL did his hands get to touch different body parts! XDD (Nothing nsfw tho, sorry ^^;)

It wasn't a bad first day in the end! I'm just intimidated by all of the equipment and how you should be extra careful with them because of the bulbs inside, and you have to set up really fast. Orz, I hope I learn to do them all soon! Also I found out that one of the staff just graduated from UP artstud. (He knows you, parent kyoy XD) He started his internship while he was still studying.

I stayed a little later than the required time just to chat with my co-intern who's also into bands, fashion, and tumblr XDD My next work day would be saturday, but I'll try to pass by the studio in between and just hang out. They have a vinyl player and tons of records and this really AWESOME sound system for it hnngh so envious * A *
