Life snippet:
Several weeks ago, the kids in newspaper start making fun of “mom” pants - pants that are high-waisted. AKA “teacher” pants, I learned.
Then, they started making fun of mothers, or any woman in her 40s+, who wears Ug boots and tight low-rise jeans.
Not sure exactly where I fit on that spectrum, but I certainly became self-conscious.
Today: It’s pouring here, again. We’re not having the flooding problems as southern New England, which is good because it sounds really really bad down south. I am tired of rain, and our lawn is beginning to look like an abandoned lot gone wild.
1. Gilmore Girls: Grr, missed the last minute because it ran long. I am glad that Lorelei gave Luke an ultimatum. I am angry that he didn’t respond to it. I am glad that Logan went to Europe - if his relationship with Rory can survive long distance, then I have more hopes for its future. I am not happy that Lorelei ended up sleeping at Chris’.
I don’t really care who Lorelei ends up with (Luke or Chris), I just want her to be in a successful relationship. The chemistry with Luke seemed to vanish the moment they started dating, and Chris is an idiot.
2. Alias: I think Vaughn knew right away that Anna/Sydney was not the real thing.
3. Survivor: I am glad that Aras won and I came in second in the office pool. I predicted his winning after the first episode, so I’m proud of myself.
