Ooh. I had skipped this until after I'd seen the movie. And now that I've read it, I don't have a single thing to add. (Well, except RIGHT FUCKING ON and that my love for Christian Bale is now out of hand.)

And! You forgot Robin!

And hello, if anything they were shipping Alfred/Fox. "...Lucius."

I didn't "forget" Robin. He's not in the movie, is what I'm saying.

Also, the people at wayne_crane have converted me. Or, not entirely "converted", really. I wouldn't call it an OTP, per se, but--yay! Slash!

I thought the little kid was Robin. Robin's an orphan, right? And when whatsherface found him he was asking the SWAT man if he had seen his mom because he couldn't find her.

Robin's a black-haired half-gypsy circus performer.

Heh. A lot of people don't know the real story anymore, which is sort of Joel Schumaker's fault.

...hit post too soon.

But also sort of not, because the character was an acrobat in that film. Well, those two films. Then, also, we have Alicia Silverstone as Batgirl, who is not meant to be Alfred's niece but Gordon's daughter, IIRC.

I didn't see the Clooney!Batman films because I honestly can't stand him (but I don't mind Katie, for some reason). I guess movies based on comics tend to canonrape even more than movies based on books, due to the sheer amount of backstory when the issues have been coming out for decades.

The only comic-based movie I've seen where I had actually read a good deal of the comics was Spawn, which also happened to be the worst movie I've ever seen. Ugh.

(Does Alfred have children, while we're on the subject of him/Fox? >:D)

Those ones may have been the Val Kilmer ones, at least one of them. I think. Possibly. Wait, which one had Nicole Kidman in? (I've only seen them on TV.)

As far as I'm aware, Alfred doesn't have any canon family. I could be totally wrong about that, though.
