I finally saw In The Heights on b-way yesterday. It was awesome. Corbin Bleu was amazing, the boy can act. He ripped hearts out. Nothing was phoned in. Even those actors who have been doing the show for the past two years are just, guh. Unbelievable.
Oh and on a shipping note. Sonny/Graffiti Pete post black out before Carnival Del Barrio, when Sonny's talking about his friend who was in the subway when the black out happened, the one who stepped on the rat, Sonny was standing next to Graffiti Pete who was sitting on a box or something in front of the Bodega and Sonny was playing with bandanna on Pete's wrist the whole time and Pete was just watching Sonny in was like OMG so obvious, and then Daniella came out and Sonny just casually dropped Pete's wrist and folded his arms. Carla was there the whole time but Carla doesn't notice these things, because she's Carla. Gosh, I practically squeed in my seat right there. Of course I squeed over the whole entire show, but there was practically super squee right then.
