If you thought there was even a slight chance I'd be giving up on this story, you're insane. I love it way to much to ever give up on it.
It does suck that the new RTE still fails for you though... a couple glitches aside, mine seems to work okay. Then again... no graphics on my master fic list, which works to my advantage in this case. Worst case scenario... try copy/paste because I don't know if things are going to get better for past entries.
Onto the actual chapter... you just let my paranoia kick in again. How can you leave it there? Sure, I know it could be something other than the worst case scenario, because I have a stupid amount of theories right now... the problem is I'm not sure I like any of them.
At the beginning, the anxiety of both Chloe and Oliver was written so well that I could feel it throughout my body, which is crazy because I have no clue what they're going through. And their 'see-you-later' (because I trust you and I am not calling it a goodbye)... so good, but what really got me was the little moment between Oliver and Connor while he was asleep. Ollie's line about him being just like Chloe got me to choke up a little.
Nice to see the guys coming back into the mix, and as painful as it was to read, I liked you included that part with Bart. I always enjoy your Hal, and I'm happy Vic's okay.
Finally, seeing Connor come around was really sweet. Even the abbreviated conversation with Chloe at the end was a touching moment, not to mention the grin on my face during their respective talks with Ollie over the phone.
In short... this was a-maze-ing (and no I don't care that I spelled it wrong), and I can't wait for the next one... even if it ends up being a month or two away.
