*speechless*

This is my favorite chapter yet. Seriously, wow. Let's see if I can find some coherent words to try and give it the justice it deserves.

I love that Ollie is slowly becoming a part of their lives, having dinner with them, helping Connor with his homework and going to practices. I felt really bad for Chloe because she knows she screwed up keeping them apart and she's trying to internalize her guilt because she's Chloe, but Ollie just thinks she wants nothing to do with him. *sigh* These two and their miscommunications.

I was LMAO at the cheerleading stuff. Ollie would totally goad her about that and it was funny that Connor didn't even know what it was. That just struck me as such a cute family moment. I'm glad Ollie asked Chloe to try and tone down the tension because Connor was going to start picking up on it. I'm also really happy she decided to but once again I felt bad for her because she thinks Ollie is going to leave and she'll get her heart broken all over again, but she's willing to do it for their son. Awww.

I loved the Robin Hood/Green Arrow talk at dinner. Ollie's reaction was so cute and I loved Connor bringing up his hero...who just happens to be sitting there. Again, I was LMAO at the tights thing. That will never stop being funny and I loved that Connor got all defensive of him too and Chloe was all "You're both wrong. Totally tights." Haha.

OMG, the scene where she broke the glass and they were just gazing at each other all wrapped together. *dead* That came through so vividly I felt like I was watching Justin and Allison play it out on my screen. And poor Connor pushing his way between them. That was a perfect reaction for him because he's so protective of his mom and he obviously wouldn't like Ollie getting all close to her.

I was dying when they were in the car and Connor asked if Oliver helped her because he loved her. Everyone's reactions to that were so perfect. Chloe's little freakout and denial and Ollie glaring at her for putting words in his mouth while he tried to explain. Then poor Chloe thinking she doesn't qualify as a friend anymore. Aw. I loved the line about the six-year-old district attorney. I love this kid. He's the perfect mix of them and they're so no match for him...

Seriously, this story continues to get better and better. Each chapter is like a mini emotional roller coaster that I hold my breath through and then I get sad when it's over because I need more immediately. You're doing such an amazing job capturing all the emotions, the hurt, the anger, the confusion and of course the obvious love that they have for each other...which the other one can't see. *sigh*

Wonderful. ♥
