*speechless*

I literally could not breathe when I was reading this chapter from the first sentence to the OMFG last sentence. I loved how Ollie was barely processing the information Vic was giving him and Hal was literallly putting a hand on his shoulder to keep him steady. That was such a perfect reaction to such life-altering information. I love that he thought enough to get Bruce's jet so he wouldn't spook Chloe and calmed himself down because he knew he couldn't freak out for their son's sake.

Aw, when the other kid answered the door and Ollie was confused because he didn't look right...that was a nice touch. And then Connor! And Chloe! And OMG, she left him because she thought he would leave her. I did not see that coming at all.

The tension and anger between the two of them was perfect. I love that Ollie was trying but he was just getting angrier and Chloe was defensive. That was very in character for both of them and so realistic for the situation. She kept his kid from him and she knew it was wrong, but she still thought she was doing the right thing. And all he sees is that he missed almost seven years...

Ooh, I love Connor already. He seems like a perfect mix of them. In my opinion, Ollie never gets enough credit for being smart, but he's a sharp guy and Chloe is Chloe, so of course their kid would be a wise-beyond-his-years genius. I love that he knew right away that something was up and he was kind of suspicious of Oliver.

I like how Ollie was just kind of in awe of him and staring at him once they were alone and taking in the little things (nice touch with the December birthday). I was assuming his room would be decorated in green or he'd have archery stuff, but when he had all the Green Arrow stuff, I was just floored. That was such an amazing little twist.

And he said Green Arrow was his father! I'm dying to know if Chloe actually told him that or if it's one of those kid things where he decided that in his head since he doesn't know who his dad is. (Love that he knows Oliver Queen though). Haha.

OMG, this story is amazing. Absolutely amazing and I cannot stress enough how much I love it. The buildup and the angst and the tension and....wow...speechless. Seriously.
