Somebody smashed into my parked car two days ago. Thankfully, the person was honest enough to call the cops and give their insurance info. Is anybody with State Farm auto insurance? I can't find their claim phone number. I filed a claim online and asked them to call me back but I haven't received a phone call from them yet. It sucks.
My car is completely destroyed on the driver's side and so, I can't drive it and this whole thing is giving me a huge headache.
Now, for the escapism...OotP got 3 out of 5 stars by a Times critic, and apparently he/she thinks the kids don't have the acting range required by the book. Now, I haven't seen the movie yet but why, oh why am I actually believing the reviewer? Maybe not for Emma Watson or Ruppert Grint, but this to me is confirming my opinion that Dan Radcliffe doesn't have it in him to be a great actor. Yeah, Dan fans, please don't kill me *lol* but I'm pissed they're replacing Coulson who actually COULD play his role and yet we're stuck with Radcliffe who, IMHO, was almost embarrassing in PoA...remember that crying scene under his invisibility cloak? Eeeesh....god awful; a dry log could have done a better job.
He's always so stiff...I don't see why he's so beloved by so many fans. The common excuse I hear is: he was only a child actor and learning the craft. Fine by me, but can we all name excellent child actors? Either you have it in you or not, I think...you can only learn so much. Like you can learn art techniques but that will not guarantee you will become a talented artist. Does Dan have an acting talent? My crystal ball says NO.
I just don't see it. He's always disappointed me. He doesn't make me forget there are cameras filming, and that's seriously bad. Well, this is just my opinion and we all know what opinions are like...but to me, he's the next Mark Hamill...
