Ooo, that's a beautiful Pintrest layout of your indies! I have some of those polishes as well: Zoya Mimi, Matte Velvet, Amy, Sooki (gorgeous red), and Apple, Emily de Molly's Forces collection (Oceanic, Cosmic, and Dark Forces), MAC Bad Fairy (I also picked up Mean Green and Formidable from the Villains trio), Pahlish Continually Smoldering, Contrary Polish Firebrand, Inky Fingers, and Bright Night ... and so many more! Some of the other indies I have are by Coco Allure, Hare, A-England, CrowsToes, KB Shimmer, Glimmer by Erica, Darling Diva, Wingnut, Girly Bits, Different Dimension, Dollish Polish, Verity, Glam Polish, and Smitten Polish.

I also recently had the opportunity to pick up 7 Julep polishes for around $35 and I really like the colors. So far I'm waiting on the San Francisco collex from O.P.I and Colors by Llarowe -- how's the formula on Colors by Llarowe? Llarowe coincidentally happens to be based out of Colorado -- I order most of my indies through Llarowe, as I like having so many choices all at one website. Hmm, I should update my wishlist as it's almost Christmas :D

I had avoided Julep, too, for a loooong time, but a few months ago Julep polishes came up on sale at Zulily.com (a site kind of like Haute Look, which will feature an item from between 1-5 days at a major discount). Normally Julep is $14 a (tiny) bottle, and they sell them only in pairs, so you're stuck paying $28, which, I'm sorry, is absurd. But I was able to pick up four pairs of polish for $8.99 a pair, so practically 4 pairs for the price of one normally. Some of the ladies on the Makeup Alley nail board swear that Julep has great formulas; most who comment on Julep hate the bottle shape. I'm looking forward to trying Julep, but I, too, am avoiding the monthly Julep box, in case I don't like it.

Where do you do most of your polish Chatting? I mostly stick to the nail board at Makeup Alley, although it's a pretty insular community and one has to be very persistent in trying to make connections there. I've made some headway. Anyway, I like keeping my nail talk mainly in one place. With polishes in transit, there's "Nail Mail" posts where we share what polishes we're expecting. Currently I'm waiting for butter London's Scouse, Brown Sugar, and a five pack mini pink ombre set; previously, I was waiting for some KB Shimmers.

You know, I'm totally not into holos either, with a few exceptions. Holos and Duos are very popular on the nail board, but I don't overly love them. I have a few, like MAC's Bad Fairy and Formidable, and one Layla polish. I, too, am ALL about the glitters and jellies! I absolutely love them. And perhaps most women my age don't wear glitter polish', but I totally don't care. It makes me smile :D

Of the three, I would say A-England has the best formulas and also some very nice colors. A-England is good quality nail polish. I like the Arthurian/British legend themes. I especially love Briarwood, Camelot, Jane Eyre, Dragon, Lady of the Lake, Tess D'Urberville, and Tristam.

Hare polishes are hit or miss for me. Because they sell out so quickly, I have yet to get a Hare that is my absolute fave. I have about four bottles of Hare. I like Cast in Bronze, Midsummer's Midnight, Pegasus (I love light blue polishes), Rusty Hearts, and King of Carat Flowers -Finder's Keepers. The formula is fine -- I haven't had any problems with any of my Hares.

I love Dollish Polish -- some wonderful color combos. I have Bazinga! (red, white, and black glitters) and My Name Is Inigo Montoya (emerald green). Also, like the other two, very good polishes with good, workable formulas. I like The Pit of Despair, Iocane Powder, Penny Penny Penny, and Drop. Your. Sword.

My nails are bare right now too because they are nubs -- I broke a few doing physical therapy, so I decided to cut them all back. I do have the Illamasqua Glitterati on my toes, though!
