Okay, pursuant to this post on wound care, the bandages they wrapped me up in itch so fucking severely I was unable to sleep at all last night. I told them I was allergic to latex and adhesives they said there was no latex in the bandages ... but the outer bandages are self-adhesive and kind of sticky to the touch. There must be something I'm allergic to in these bandages because OMFG. I can't decide whether or not to just take them the hell off or wait until the clinic opens and call and ask for direction.

Okay. Okay. Trying to calm down here ... I will take a Benedryl and see if that helps. If it's an allergy, Benedryl should help with the itching ...
