New program, new troubles

So I've been using Imovie to make vids, since that's all that was available to me...until now. Final cut express is a whole different playing field, in that it is equipped with virtually everything you could ever need or want. I had no idea how daunting a task it would be to master this program and I still haven't really conquered it ( Read more... )

Umm, the version I am familiar with is 5, I don't know how different they are, but if you torrent version 5 for imovie, I'd be a greater help. If you can't or don't want to torrent the next version, here is a page I found that sounds helpful.

try it, and see. I also need to know where you're at in vidding, if you're semi pro and you know the basics and how to use them, or if you're a beginner, or what. ;)

I myself have quicktime pro and it has been a lifesaver. You can cut your lips to just the scenes or even seconds that you want, it's amazing. I don't know any other way to do it for mac...
