Fourteen-year-old Draco Malfoy looked at his reflection and started having a panic attack. “I beg you, Mother-please don’t do this to me!”
“Do stop being melodramatic, Draco,” Narcissa smoothed the collar of his son’s robes. “We’re just attending a soiree with some of our oldest friends.”
“But these robes make me look completely ridiculous!” Draco was not above whining to get what he wanted.
“It’s what proper Pureblood wizards should wear. They make you look regal and distinguished.” His mother smiled with satisfaction at their reflection.
“As distinguished as a house-elf wearing a monocle,” Draco grumbled under his breath.
