He had seen the disdainful look in Theodore's eyes, the sullen shrug of his shoulders. His not-so-subtle refusal to help Draco foil and embarrass Potter; a first. Yes, he had seen it all.
Was it defiance, perhaps? Was he being influenced by someone else? But, whom? Someone not so obvious, but would dare challenge him by wooing those in his close circle?
Could it be...for information? To smear, or worse, blackmail?
He blinks and coughs. Getting ahead of himself.
