Merope has another headache. But, it's not the kind that makes her grind her teeth, and joints ache.
It's the kind that makes her skin crawl, itchy all over, and want to pound her head against the table (even though that would make it worse).
Without even realizing it, she's dropped a mold covered pot, clanging loudly on the floor.
Morfin shrieks and jumps out of his chair, grabs his knife instinctively, before seeing what it was. He sneers at her.
"Pick it up, you fool!" Her father shouts.
Maybe she would bang her head against the table, just maybe.
