Across the platform, he sees Potter doing the same: quietly comforting his wife. Draco remembers his first train ride, offering so-called friendship to Potter (as Lucius had ordered). He shakes the memory and the lingering humiliation and walks toward Potter.
Draco sticks out his hand, “Grow up fast, don’t they?”
Harry nods slowly, then reaches out with a slight grin. “They do indeed.”
