It's absolutely okay not to use the prompt word, as long as the drabble is clearly related to it.

And I love this drabble - the end of the first paragraph, and upon closer reading, this little, terrible word in the second paragraph: his former brother. Ouch!

Whew! I wasn't sure, and I saw people using prompts in the drabbles, and I didn't want to deviate from the norm, but I also didn't see anything that explicitly said it must be used in the drabble. And I wasn't sure on the tagging thing. I looked for information on if I should tag it, if mods tagged it, what have you (some comms prefer one way over another, I've noticed), and I couldn't find anything so I wasn't sure. Then I got distracted. >_>

Anyway! I'm glad you enjoyed it! :D

Hu-huh, I can see a new edit of our rules coming its way... Don't worry, we can hardly complain about anyone failing to follow an unwritten rule.

For future reference: you add any pertinent tag available when posting, we add the rest whenever we check the comm.

(Shutting up now, because clearly my English is failing me today - the words come out all wrong. Sorry.)

I just know some mods prefer things one way and others at other times, and it was really late when I wrote it, and I got distracted easily by shiny objects (a.k.a. HP gifs from the premier >_>), but this is good to know so I will know in the future!

(Oh no worries! Words tend to fail me more than I enjoy them to, and I think it came out just fine!)

I was thinking about a comm dedicated to regulus, but it would totally fit the 'emotion' challenge on the French comm for 100 words drabbles on HP. (Especially if I say so - I mod that one!)

I love Regulus. You've got his voice here, or at least what I consider his snakely being. You made me jump from lurker to commenter with this drabble.

Glad to have made you make the jump (would a "Quantum Leap" reference be completely amiss in this situation? >_>)! And Regulus is one of my favorite characters, even if he's not got nearly so much known about him, which may be one reason why he's probably easier to write for than some (for me anyway).
