“I can’t, Hermione. Luna isn’t interested in me.”
“Every Friday after work we come here, and you never leave that chair. You just sit and moon. That approach isn’t working.”
“It’s okay.”
“Why don’t you ask her to dance?”
“I-“
“And don’t say you can’t, because I saw you at the Yule Ball. Now go.”
“But-“
“I’ll even turn around so I can’t see.”
After a few moments, the band began playing a slow song and Hermione smiled as she heard the scrape of chair legs behind her.
