Seamus was in over his head. He knew he was in over his head and this was why he had asked Pansy to come in the first place. He couldn't help but feel extremely out of place and silly all the while, though. He hadn't worn work robes like this since school and even then he was usually found without a tie and his shirt un-tucked whenever he could get away with it.

Besides, these work robes were all much nicer and more colorful than the ones he ever wore at school.

He'd seemed to have gotten the dressing room thing down pretty well by now, though, putting each combination quickly and coming back out so Pansy could study the fit and color with her discerning gaze.

"Well?" he asked, wearing a set of black robes as he came back out.

"An interesting set," Pansy said after a moment. She pulled a little at the sleeves and adjusted the shoulders a little bit.

"But it's workable if we take it to the tailor." She paused. "What do you think?"

Seamus turned to the mirror, tilting his head.

"... They're black," he said, making a face. "Not very exciting, are they?"

"But classy, at the very least," Pansy decided.

"But we don't have to get them."

He tilted again considering. "I feel stiff," he said quietly. He looked back to her. "What do you think?"

"Hmm." she hummed, tilting her head as well.

"Next one."

Seamus made a face and nodded disappearing back into the fitting room.

A moment later he reappeared, in gray robes accompanied by a green waistcoat. "At least it's not purple," he smirked.

Pansy sort of... missed the joke, too concentrated by looking at the way the robes fit him.

"That's not bad at all."

He looked up at her, a little surprised by the way she was looking at him. "... Really?" he asked, turning to the mirror.

"This could be a good one once it's tailored to fit you properly," Pansy declared.

"And reasonably priced," she added, looking at the tag.

"You think so?" Seamus asked, turning to get a look at the back. Had they finally found a decent set of robes? He grinned up at her. He wasn't sure he'd be convinced so easily if it weren't for they way she'd looked at him.

"I haven't had robes tailored to me since school."

"We can have them tailored tomorrow." Pansy nodded.

She tugged at the sleeves again and adjusted the shoulders. She nodded again.

"Mmhm," Pansy said, all seriousness still.

Well, Seamus was convinced. He stole a quick kiss.

"We've still got plenty of the day left."

"What shall we do now?" Pansy asked after giving the sales girl a nod to tell her to already ring them up.
