So after my whiny post on Thursday, 'Nee called and gave me some advice. :) She said to take the drugs - 3 times a day like it says- and they will take away the internal inflammation (that's why it hurts even though it's not swollen) so it will hurt less.
So I did. Thursday night, all day friday, saturday and yesterday. Add to the fact that I spent ALL DAY Saturday sitting around watching movies- and by yesrerday evening my ankle felt almost regular. YAY!
(It hurts again today but I've been walking on it more so that's probably it. UGH Being injured SUCKS!)
Moving on... I had a super fun weekend! Friday night I had dinner with Brett and some of her friends. It was delish and the company was excellent. :) Then we headed out to a bar to meet some other folks. It was cool but a little loud for conversation- still fun though- lots of cool peeps around. (I wish there was hockey on to watch though!)
Then Saturday was the big Marvel Avengers Universe Movie Marathon! I was super stoked about it- like totally nerded.. and it was a really great day. We started around 11:30AM I guess- watched Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Captain America, Thor and The Avengers. The group of people there were Hilarious- basically it was like a 13 hour episode of MST3K. Highly Entertaining. :)
Also, I forgot how many lovely aircraft there are in Iron Man and Iron Man 2- so many hottttt F-22s. mmmmm and of course watching Thor and The Avengers hooked me up with some Hiddles-love. (I hadn't watched anything with him in it since last Sunday so it was good.)
Anyway it was a totally chill day of awesomeness with awesome people. I know so many fun people that live far away! *I know cool people here too, I just wish we could all be in the same place at the same time, ya know?*
And today I'm randomly tired. Which is weird because I got 5 hours of sleep on Friday night, 5 hours of sleep on Saturday night (and was fine sat and sun) but got 9 hrs last night and am tired today. Too much sleep? Weird.
