I'm worried about my bamboo plant. I think it might be dying! I have had it for 5 and a half years- it's just a little 3 stalk bamboo. (that is probably not actually true bamboo but lucky bamboo I guess? but anyway) It's cute and was a birthday present for my 24th birthday when I lived in Salt Lake City. A lady I worked with gave it to me- so sweet. It lived on my desk all year, survived the drive home and has lived in my room since. It needs very little sunlight and just water (it has no soil) every so often. I am bad with plants but it has been fine. But now oout of nowhere the stalks are turning yellow and so did some of the leaves! I don't know what's wrong with it. I read that it could have been getting too much light? (I did move it to the dresser a few months ago and maybe now that it's sunnier that's the problem?) Or maybe it got too cold when I had the window open last week- apparently they don't like drafty places. So I moved it to my desk which is in the corner and should be warmer and shadier.. hopefully it will recover. I'd be so sad to lose it after so long!
I finished MI-5 today. Great show- but again, they leave the season on a cliffhanger! And I really can't find season 9- it exists on dvd in the UK but that's the wrong format. Ugh. I need to do some deeper research. I need to know what happens! (well I know what happens because I read about it.. but that's not the same!) /addiction
I thought I was going to get my Sharpe dvds today but they didn't come yet. Rats. Hopefully tomorrow!
And that's about it. I am going to see "Beauty and the Beast" at the high school tomorrow night. A friend of mine is playing Belle and I'm pretty excited to see it- I love the show, it's my 2nd favorite Disney show. (#1 being "The Little Mermaid" and #3 being "Aladdin" in case you're curious.) It should be fun. Then Saturday night is the Sabres/Devils game. WOOOHOOO! :) The boys are playing well lately but so are the Devils-- they have been unbelievable in the last few months. Then Sunday is church, religion class and then play practice.
Busy weekend ahead... I'm out!
