carry on then

I have read 18 books so far this year. WOOO. Last year I didn't hit 18 until June. This is good. :)

Still having death cramps. Apparently so are half of my facebook friends. It's sort of uncanny.

I watched 2 more episodes of MI-5. Only one left! And I can't find dvds of season 9. What to do?? It really is an engaging show. But I must say, the actress who plays Sarah Caufield, the CIA operative (forget her name, Genevieve something) has the most AWFUL "Boston/New York/East Coast" accent I've ever heard. It's TERRIBLE. Now.. accents aren't easy, but you're a professional. Do it right or don't do it. If you want to be a "generic" American, make your character be from the south somewhere- those tend to be a bit easier to fake. East Coast nasal accents are HARD to get right. If you do it wrong you just sound like an idiot and everyone can tell you're faking. Just saying.

Moving on....
I can't find any more MI-5, But I did buy 5 more Sharpe movies. Once I get those, there are only 2 others, one of which I borrowed from the library, and I think the lib has the other one as well. Sweetness.

Then I don't know what I'll do. Become a hermit perhaps. Speaking of Bernard Cornwell, I found a new book by him. It's called The Fort and it's about the later days of the Revolutionary War- it's pretty good so far. Paul Revere is a character-intriguing. It's good to get back to some old fashioned American Folk Heroes. ;) I wish he'd write more book about Nathaniel Starbuck and the Civil War. Those were really interesting.

Right-oh, well it's time for some sleeping I think now that I've gotten some words out of my head!

tv shows, sharpe, movies, life
