you can do it!
Ladies and gents, in my 4th year of attempting, I have finally read 50 books in one calendar year! (it is quite possible, even probable, that I have done this before, but not since I started keeping track in 2007.) I read 49 books in 2007, 45 in 2008 and 49 again in 2009, but this year- and it's only November, I am already on book 51. YAY! :)
In other news, I think I finally have an outfit for my niece's wedding in a few weeks. I have a black dress that I found for a super good deal at ROSS- a closeout sort of store that's found in the South and West but of course, not here- when I was visiting 'Nee back in September. It's pretty but fairly simple- just a little black dress. But it feels a little plain and I wanted to jazz it up a touch- so I found this red lacy sweater from VS that I think will go with it nicely and add a touch of color. I love red, and it's the color of the bridesmaid's dresses too so it fits in. :) Yay me.
We did the play this past weekend. It was fun- the kids had an absolute blast and I did enjoy it as well. I'm okay with it being over though- we have so much to get ready for with the wedding coming up that we'll need the next few weeks.. yeeks!
Not much else of excitement going on. Hope all is well in lj-land.. maybe I'll post more now that I have my evenings relatively free again.. we'll see!
