*Got my rejection letter from the Blue Jackets job yesterday. Yet another NON-interview. I don't know what else to do!!
*Had a fantastic lunch and walkaround in Niagara Falls (Canada!) with Dannie and Lexi on Monday. That was wonderful..(except for the sunburn! I had sunscreen, but I left it in the car.. whoops!) wish we coulda stayed longer. I love my friends! :) And the border crossing was quicker than ever- there was no one there, either way. WEIRD.
*gotta love New York State. (taste the sarcasm here, folks.) I have to renew my drivers license this year, as well as my plates. The DL will cost $64.50 ($94.50 if I want an enhanced one that will let me travel to Canada and Mexico without a passport). The plates look like about $50.. that is ABSURD. Oh and I have to get the car inspected as well, which is another $25ish. So we are talking $150 just to keep myself legal. INSANE! (not to mention all the extra fees I pay in insurance in this dumb state.) UGH.
To compare: in OHIO, the rate for renewing a license is $25 and the plates are $34.50. No inspection or any of that junk. I miss my home state!!
..Luckily, I have until August to save up enough money! (okay, slightly joking- it's not THAT bad but it's still a little ridiculous.)
* I dunno about this whole eHarmony thing. They keep sending me matches and I look through and try to initiate contact with some fellas, but so far, nothing's going. :(
*The Sabres are not only in the playoffs, but they locked up the Division title last night! That means we'll be the #2 or 3 seed, depending on what happens with Pittsburgh/new Jersey. Sweetness! (As long as we don't have to play the Senateurs (of DOOM), we'll be fine.. ) But WOOOHOOO PLAYOFF HOCKEY!!!!!!!
