it's been busy

I'm still here, I promise!

The last few days have been crazy. Well yesterday wasn't so bad but Friday, Saturday and Sunday were all pretty busy. Friday I had the kids all day and we ran errands and did stuff around the house. Then we went to the park because the weather was fantastic. :)

Then I got a call from my brother in law who offered me his Sabres tickets for the night since he wasn't feeling well. So I went with Christopher. We had a great time and the boys won in a shootout. WOOOOHOOO! They also won yesterday by a score of 7-1. That's good stuff. Not a bad start for the fellas, I do say. :)

Saturday I had to do another lovely customer intercepts for Subway. My job is so fun. Or not. It wasn't terrible but those things get tedious after a while. And I had a headache for much of the time so that didn't help. My nose is still runny and I'm coughing but the cold has gotten better. I'm not 100% but much improved from last week at this time. *phew* After I left Subway I went to the science museum to get Alex who was there for a boy scout merit badge workshop. I chilled around for a while, picked him up and we came home to friends for supper. Good times were had but it was a long day.

Sunday was church and then religious ed. It was another lovely day so I took Christopher outside to play badminton. He didn't do too badly. It was fun. I really enjoy badminton, I should play more. ;) I went out Sunday night to this random bar in town with Bryan and Justin since they were home for the long weekend and Bryan had things to do at his house. That was fun. Random but fun.

Yesterday was actually pretty chill. I slept till almost 10 am (WOOOO) then kinda hung out and didn't do a whole lot. The fam went to Buffalo for dinner with some other friends and to pick up Braden and Alex from those friends' house but I stayed home because the Sabres were on and I invited Bryan and Justin over to watch the game. (they never came but I didn't know that they wouldn't be there) and it was just neat to have the house to myself for a while. That doesn't happen too often so it was refreshing. I watched the Sabres dismantle the Islanders and then read my book for a while. It was good stuff.

Today was story time with the little guys and a visit to Kless boys for an oil change. I have the house to myself right now too. Q is visiting Leah with the babies and S and the big boys are at scouts. I'm checking the Pens/Flyers game halfheartedly and updating my blogs. Word.

Still chatting with Lou- the guy I talked about a few entries ago- on plentyoffish. I'm hoping he'll ask me to meet him sometime. I want to meet him but I don't want to jump the gun. I'll wait for him to make the move. Is that smart?

Oh and I have no idea what is up with this but my laptop won't let me download java so I can't run the stattracker (I paid for!) for yahoo fantasy hockey. What a load of crap. I think it's a problem with Vista. I had no problems with it on my desktop computer but who knows? Then I tried to download this google chrome browser which I've heard is very cool and plays well with other programs (cuz maybe the problem had something to do with the fact that I use firefox?) but it won't download. STUPID VISTA. I hate vista. I want Windows XP back dangit. :(

Enough ranting, I'm out. Peacey peace.

2.5 weeks till I get to see Morgan!
4 weeks till Nee comes home!
WOOOOOOOOO! :)
