Dude. So we went to the Buffalo Bisons baseball game today. It's somewhat of a tradition for us, this being the 3rd time the fam went, my 2nd time. They do a cool 4th of July celebration (I know it's the 3rd, thwey do it early) with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and all that.
Well. The Bisons were losing 6-2 in the bottom of the 9th. Then they weren't. They rallied back with 4 runs to tie it. (oh yes and this is when we were screaming our heads off and I turned my sabres hat inside out and backwards- rally cap baby!- and it worked!)
So we go to extra innings. And finally, in the top of the 13th inning (at 10:20 pm- the game started at 6) the Rochester Red Wings scored a home run. Eek. (I turned my hat back, I jiinxed them! Sorry boys) and then the Bisons couldn't come back in the bottom so they lost 7-6.
As a result of the game being so dang long, Christopher was a whiny mess by the end and we didnt' stay for the fireworks and only hung for 2 songs by the BPO. :(
BUt it was still a cool time. And it was my sister Quin's Birthday so Happy Bday to her!
also celebrating birthdays are everyone's favorite crazy actor- Tom Cruise, Teemu Selanne (hockey player) and Teppo Numminen (hockey player and current sabre).
maybe I'll share the pics from the game later. If I feel like doing it. We'll see.
