(no subject)
A few things:
Thing 1- I finally heard from Albany. I didn't get the job. But he said that I was definetly their 2nd best interview. he also told me that I "get it" and that's important in this industry, and if they hadn't found another person with exactly what they were looking for, they would have picked me. He told me that if another team in the position to hire me didn't do it, "they are stupid". And he re-iterated it, he said, I'm not b.s-ing you, I really mean that.
So that felt good. At least I came close, and I made an impact. So I wanted him to call the guys in Cleveland and tell them that!
Anyway that was that- now I know so I don't have to keep wondering what's up.
Thing 2- I still need to tell y'all about the Florida weekend, whichw as rather fun. I have pics too, I will eventualy post them here, but I'm kinda lazy so you can check 'em at my facebook- http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=125487&l=26f71&id=723955592
Annnnnnd Thing 3- I got to see Ingram Hill yesterday! It was just Morgan and I because 'Nee was skydiving, Brett was working, and Dan had other plans. But we had fun. The drive to Ft. Wayne was cool. We missed the beginning of the set, but I think we only missed maybe 1 song. They played a great show, but sadly there were no people there! It was a free show, part of a Colts Fan Fest thing so ppl were around but not really there to see IH. So there ere like 10 girls right in the front, then Morg and I and some other folks hanging back a bit. It was so fun though- the sound was rockin and the lead singer, Justin was so funny. He just kept rambling in between songs and it made me laugh so much. He has a super hot accent too (the boys are from Memphis), and he's extremely smiley. And he kinda looks like Izey too which is hot. After the show, he and the lead guitarist, Phil were hanging out. So I chatted with them (well Phil didn't speak at all LOL) and got a pic. I told them they MUST come to Rochester and I could maybe hook them up with Water Street music hall so who knows maybe they will. That would be amazing.
Seriously, if you have a chance to see them at any time, GO GO GO GO GO!!!
So yeah that was that. Tonight we're going to see Small Town Sleeper, that should be fun. Haha bands from Urbana. I had a math class with Troy, their lead singer, in college. He's extremely hot. Don't know what the plans are for tomorrow but maybe I'll find someone to hang with- perhaps 10girrrl and sweet_cheeks14 or something. It's all good. Tomorow is 'Nee's last day. Blah. But she will be back in November! so it's only 5 months. that will be nothing after the 9 we had to wait to see her this time.
