but they are like $70 and that's just INSANE for a pair of shoes! See, I'm not a person who can wear the same pair of shoes for years, I am HARD on shoes. and as a result I don't like to spend a lot of money. Also, considering that my current (very strugglin, falling apart as we look at them) sandals cost $3 and are still kickin it (albeit strugglin-ly) 4 years later, I'd say that sometimes cheaper really is better. (i've gone through 2 or 3 other pairs of more expensive sandals and a few pairs of shoes in this time) oy. vey. decisions. I should be getting a $100 refund from the state of Utah tax commission, maybe I'll use it to buy some new sandals. They look comfy and like they will last, but who knows? I should try to find them in a store and try them on. oooyyyy.. :/
So the fam is doing a cruise this summer before 'Nee gets deployed again. This time it's to Bermuda. It should be fun, 5 nights. wooot. :) AND this ship has an ice skating rink!!! wheeee! But now I need to get my fatt butt in shape and stuff so it's time to get real (for real this time LOL I say this every coupla weeks, I swear) and buy some fun clothes. I actually found and tried on this dress at jcpenny on friday that I didnt' buy but I think I'll go back tomorrow and get it because it was on sale and now I *know* there is a need for it. and tomorrow is the last day of the sale so yeah.
Ah my life. By this time next week (and hopefully before, if i'm lucky), I'll know whether or not I've been invited to the CHL job fair and I can start planning that accordingly. I hope I can go, but more importantly, I JUST WANT TO KNOW DAMMIT!
Oh yeah and I just bought Wizardry 7, which is a cool old RPG for the computer and after much ado, actually got it to work on my compy so I can play it again. It's a really cool game, kinda random and stuff but quality nonetheless and I never finished it before. It was one of the few computer games I really got into. That and Wing Commander II, and Return to Zork, though that game DROVE ME TO THE BRINK OF INSANITY and I finally had to do some cheats to get myself to a place where I could actually finish it. ANd I'm not one for cheats, but I swear I Have NO IDEA how you could have come up with some of that stuff without cheating. madness.
