woo to the hoo
Today's women's hockey game SUCKED. They played like crap for basically the whole gmae (there were about 5 mins of decent hockey from Niagara's end) and got killed 4-0. It was rough. But on the plus side, since we were short-staffed, Ryan Virtue was working the music today. Ryan is a baseball player and he does all sorts of promotional work during the hockey games, so I've seen him around. I definetly had a "yeah you're pretty cute but I never talk to you" sort of crush on him for a while, but today I actually talked to him and yeah.. it only reaffirmed the crush and turned it into a "you're really cute AND friendly and decent" crush only he has a gf so yeah. Whatev. Real cool guy though, we had a nice chat. and he's got a great melt-worthy accent, (he's from Ottawa) and gorgeous deep blue eyes. So that made the terrible game more worthwile for me. ;)
In other news, we ate grilled veggies tonight with supper. I seriously LOVE them. I should eat grilled vegetables with every meal and for snacks. LOL because they taste so good I could eat them anytime and they're goooood for me! (yeah I'm a dork I know this) but yeah, the tastiness was just noteworthy. (for those of you who are new to my LJ, I often ramble extensively about food because I enjoy cooking and eating very much) Then I had a beer after supper cuz taht just seemed good. this was odd, as I'm not much of a beer drinker, but since we ate steak, I wanted soemthing to kind of aleiviate the heaviness of it.. and yeah, it WAS good. (always nice, becuase every once in a while I crave a beer but it isnt as good as I want it to be LOL) And I love how beer makes me think of Louisiana and Salt Lake city and hockey... heh heh
Not much else to share. It's a pretty quiet night. I think I'll read and waste more time online for the remainder of the evening. Have a lovely time my friends, hopefully out doing more interesting things than I am! ;)
