I can't pretend to understand how you feel and I don't know what to say in an attempt to help you feel better, but it's neat to know that you remember me in your memories of that day at the rink outside :) You will forever be my 'hockey friend' and that is definitely one of my favorite hockey memories. I just wanted to share and say hi. Diane :)

A year has passed, and yet the hurt is still raw. Sam, your entry brought tears to my eyes again. So many amazing memories. While I didn't know Trevor quite as well as you did, I certainly felt like I lost a friend last summer. The pain we felt was like having our hearts ripped right out of our chest.

Being that I live in Syracuse, I had many opportunities to watch Trevor in his last year playing. He was an amazing man. He played with such passion and joy that the outcome we saw in July was totally unexpected. I will always remember the huge smile on his face as he put his arm around me for a picture. I looked up at him and said, "Wow...you sure are tall!!" He looked down and gave me a grin that told me he hears that all the time but still loves it every time.

Thank you for sharing your memories.

Your entry brought tears to my eyes... that was an amazing tribute. I have to be honest, I've never heard of him before, but reading that makes me wish I had known of him and had met him.

These are your memories, but thanks for sharing them.
