Am here!
In Italy now with Dame EL. Was really a good short flight. (an hour shorter than expected) I still barely managed to sit still for the flight. Customs in Amsterdam was a breeze, amused the TSA folks in customs by getting so excited about the cool high tech full-body whirly body scanning machine.
On the way in we flew over rustic Olive groves and massive old crumbling villas! It's still so green here and the weather is milder than expected.
From the airport we a took a 20 minute hair -raising taxi ride into the heart of the old city itself,to our lovely tourist house. Man, there are lanes painted on the road but they are only suggestions. They drive any where they want! Compared to drivers in Italy we are really anal about our driving rules, HAH!
