More pottery stuff.
Hey y'all!
Today was a pottery-riffic day!
I was lucky that a friend offered to baby -sit the shop so I could have a day alone with D and do the all day Saturday studio thingie. We glazed our cannisters to high fire, a then moved to the wheel room for a little throwing. D practiced throwing his signature one piece goblets, while I worked on bottle type forms. My porcelain had stiffened up quite a bit and I had to wheel-wedge more liquid into it to make more workable. This time I remembered to put a wet sponge it the bag to keep it more moist. Studio was interrupted by a telephone call saying that my transmission fluid line in my car had been replaced and was now ready to pick up. I hopped into D's car and raced to the repair shop paid for it and left it out front to pick up later. I only missed a half hour of studio. :) We were done and cleaned up by 5:00.
D and found we had worked up a real mean appetite, So we went for Indian dinner at Cedars! YUM!!!!
