Picspam, v2.0
So, partly because there is an absolutely adorable video of Dima on the ATP site and partly because I want to post pics of some of the other players that I like, this is a second picspam...first part will be the Russians-other-than-Marat, XD (because, come on, I don't think anyone on my f-list hasn't seen Marat picsxa gazillion...though if I find a good one I will include it, of course.) Then I put in some Ferru, Lleyton, and a little Hasi. Some random misc. pics at the end too.
So here is the video of Dima talking about his toughest opponents. Earlier this year he had a beard that looked like it had stemmed from a lost bet, but now he is once again all smiley and cute. He seems to have a block when it comes to Kolya, oddly enough.

The 2006 (and 2007, and 2008, and...) Russian Davis Cup team and captain Tarpischev (but unfortunately minues Igor, or he may just be cut off) meet with Boris Yeltsin... mostly I just like to see them in black suits, which is WOAH. (Only Mikhail would pull off a pink-black combination.) Yes, so, if anyone doubted the accuracy of calling the DC team the Russian Mob before...Roflmao!
Igor is SO, unbelievably happy... most likely because this picture was probably taken right after his kiss with Dima...and, oh, yes, small detail about Russia winning Davis Cup. :D
And FREAKING HELL. Dima's website got hacked. o_0 That's not good. I hope they fix it for him. Otherwise we will have to set angry!Kolya and angry!Mischa on them...and we all know what angry!Mischa can do.
It's obviously not possible for me to escape posting Davis Cup photos... Marat is MIA in this one because it's '07 Finals and he just got back from attempting to climb a Himalayan mountain. *Shakes head* Only Marat.

The famous "Youzhny salute". Mischa is just so cute. I think one of the ESPN commentators, right after the Stapenek match at Wimbledon, summed it up pretty nicely: "I don't know why, but I like him."

Unfortunate lack of proper Mischa pics (ie. those with exposed skin XD) but judging from this shot of his back I don't think he has anything to hide... probably just Mischa being shy, as per usual.
Mischa and some form of shouting or fist-clenching is the predominant theme...

Okay, I'm not particularly fond of the Serbian players one way or another- and I'm definitely not big on Djokovic (sorry Novak fans, I will redeem myself in a moment) on most days, but these pictures were too funny to pass up. Evidently last year they had a exhibition match in Serbia, a mixed-doubles match with Novak/Jelena vs. Janko/Ana. They did more fooling around than playing tennis though, by the sounds of it.
Janko looks REALLY into whatever he is doing with the microphone on the right there.
And...I don't even know whats going on in this one. XD I think that's Novak under there. I think.
P.S. Searching for "Youzhny Cute" evidently gets you American Davis Cup slash pic. I've probably seen this in an icon or something, but... not quite sure if Roddick is freaked out or if that's the normal blank look. XD

Also, I will talk to everyone again probably on Tuesday because I am leaving for a couple of days of vacation tomorrow. :) Visiting Quebec... I really wish the men's tournament was in Montreal so I could have seen a day of play, but Toronto is a bit too far away. :(
