USMNT vs SPAIN, 0-4, 6/4/11 Friendly
Super late post but I finally processed (by which I mean cropping & deleting, ahem) and uploaded my photos from the match at Gillette Stadium. Conclusion? I fucking love La Furia Roja. The only downside was not seeing LJ friends, but tbqh my RL friend and I were too busy cheering to move from our seats. We were a somewhat mixed section with a US section right next to us, so we had to represent, damnit.
My favorite parts of the match (aside from seeing the team, of course, my breath literally caught when Iker stepped out for the first time, he really does look that good): replying "TWOOOO-ZERO" to "USA USA USA" chants and Spain scoring their third goal literally a second later hahahaha, also the guys from El Salvador who were kinda drunk but awesome anyway one was a cule and the other madridista and the guy who was a RM fan kept laughing at my commentary and turning around and high-fiving us XD. (I think they were pleasantly surprised two American chicks knew anything about La Liga.)
