How could this be anything other than when Ron and Hermione finally (and I do mean FINALLY) kissed at the near end of Deathly Hallows?
I loved Ron and Hermione as a ship from about the third book on, and could really picture neither of them with anyone else. I think they are perfectly suited for one another, and although I think it took too long to get there, I realize that Ron really did need to grow up, see himself as someone with worth, and finally get who Hermione was before this could take place on a meaningful level.
And it did. Finally. So if now JK Rowling would just write a few books about what happens next and how they actually get their happily ever after, I'll be happy.
