Day 16 - Your guilty pleasure book

I have not so much a guilty pleasure book, but a guilty pleasure author, Phillippa Gregory. She writes semi-romance historical fiction, aka The Other Boleyn Girl and the like. She's done a whole series on the Tudors, which I loved, and has started one on the period just before that, during the War of the Roses. Like I said, it's historical fiction, which is kind of just taking the names, places and the story behind what happened and fleshing it out into something that, while not true, is entertaining. While I wouldn't label her books as trashy, they have way more swooning in them than what I typically read. And when I say swooning, I mean sex. And, they are fun, as long as you don't get carried away by the idea that any of it is real. If you want real Tudors, pick up an Alison Weir book (which are also good).
