I had no career plans for Thomas so he rolled for a business/career and landed on 'Lounge'!
And so Thomas took out a hefty loan and purchased the Ivory Lounge, located in the shopping district of Valyria!
It is right downtown in an active area, located under some apartments.
The Ivory Lounge is a luxury cocktail/poker bar
$55,000 simoleans is a risky loan! The interest alone is quite deadly!
I did give him $10k to cover the cost of the empty 'apartments' above the lounge
A small portion of the loan also went to buying a car, since it is a rule that if a sim owns a lot in Valyria, they must own a vehicle to get there
Anyways, off to work before that interest hits Thomas's account :p

Thomas went ahead and hired new resident, Amalthea Sellens as a bartender
Business grew quickly, so a couple more poker tables were added outside :)
Owning a lounge means late hours! Thomas opens the bar 3pm-10pm, so he comes home quite hungry!
Another day means back to work!

After two crazy opening days, Thomas decided to stay home and rest.
His nephew, Elijah Poplar, walked by! They had a nice bonding chat
A bit bored by the afternoon, Thomas headed to Flamingoes to check out his competition
(It's in need of some landscape cleaning after updating my default plants lol)
I love him okay
He hit it off with this townie and invited her back to his place
I almost forgot he needed to adopt a kitten!!!

I don't remember her name but she is like 4th or 5th gen cat
So I am pregnant and kittens make me cry so easily you have no idea and I may have teared up when this lil baby was eating out of her bowl for real
Thomas has 2 bolts with Deja (by lilith-sims) but they didn't get along very well =/
Back to the grind!
My goal was achieved!! This $20k will take the biggest interest blow off of Thomas's loan
$42k to go!
